I see what the problems is. You don't know how to consistently spell "quack." Nor, apparently, do you know what a quack sounds like.

No. I am merely bardic enough to coin my own vocabulary.

It's Jena's turn this week. So. Where's your submission?

Mmmm. Desserts! Chocolate... drippy syrup... sugar! Yum.

SOmehow, I don't think your story will taste quite as good. *sigh* At least it's got zero calories! ;)

For an editor who likes to point out spelling mistakes, I find it odd you think that chocolate syrup can be found in the desert.

So I have more free time than I once did and I've got the urge to finally get serious about this whole writing thing so if it's okay with everyone, I'd like to rejoin the group.  Let me know if you need my email address again.

Well I'm back, but with education week I may or may not be able to make it, but this is the week off isn't it?

EDIT: the reason I ask is my sister's friend (henceforth known as moron) wipped my computer because he thought he knew what to do to fix it better than me. So yeah, all of my favorites are gone.

Faster: Actually, I believe it's next week that you guys have off.

Robert: It seems to be the consensus in the groups that since participation has stabilized and the rotations are quite big (5-6 weeks between submitting), there isn't room for 'new' members.

This doesn't mean, however, that you can't start your own group. If you want. I know Gemm expressed interest in the past, but couldn't join because of scheduling, and Fastor may not be able to finagle himself back into Ardent Scribblers again, due to his truancy--but perhaps he might do better in another group with a different schedule.

Just a thought.

Yes, I have expressed interest. And yes, I am willing to accept fiction and prose as well. The poetry group doesn't need to be just that, I'm all for other types of work as well.

So, if there are any number of people who are actually interested in starting a new group post in the thread that I have created.

Gemm and Robert, that sounds like a good plan to unite forces for a third group. :) Good luck!

As for my submission... it is coming! My brother was in town (yahoo!) and so I wasn't able to get to it. Plus, my workload is absolutely awful this week. However, after I run a few errands, I plan to edit some stuff a bit and then send it to everyone. I will try to keep it on the short side since it's late and all. Thanks!
