With some money and a cup with a good lid? Any speculations as to what our amorph Shlock is planning to do?

Well, I voted "Kill it" on the last thread, but I don't think that's what he's planning here.

It's clearly a piece of himself that contains memories. An Amorph meme. A message in a bottle, so to speak.

There can be only one recipient for such a message - the Amorph baggage handlers on Kelric hub. My guess? Schlock is about to hire himself a little Amorph army. Three more agents that have all of Schlock's abilities, including the ability to communicate with each other by passing memes - in other words, a 100% secure method of communication.

The question is, what will Schlock do with his little army, and what will become of them when Thurl calls in a few days? The Toughs could always do with more Amorphs, but can the strip do with more Amorphs in the Toughs?

That could work. As you say, then the question becomes what Schlock intends to do with a small army of amorphs -- or even one? Hum, would it help to have a potential duplicate for himself to step in somewhere? Oh, wait, doesn't the real Schlock on the show change colors and turn into a human? With the others, they might be able to handle that...

Could Lunesby access a chunk of amorph? If indeed they are derived from storage (don't I vaguely remember something about that), would a chunk of Schlock provide either a message to Lunesby or a method for smuggling him/herself out? Could Lunesby download into that small a piece? (I do remember that Schlock tucked away some significant memories in an eyeball once...)

It could be a stone, in which case poor Shafter may be being set up as a red herring of some kind. Of course, given the way Schlock has been absorbing and spitting stuff, who knows what he may have picked up in the trash, right?

What else?

You see, I came up with a completely different theory (although you may very well be correct--I hadn't thought about him hiring the baggage handlers). 

Here's my theory:  Amorphs are memory storage devices, right?  Well isn't there a certain AI looking for a way off planet and doesn't she need a memory storage device.

I think Schlock (or a little piece of Schlock) may be about to eat Lunesby.
