Try to keep the hate down you two.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

yeah, uhm. Dew. I'm deleting your post, not because it's against me, but because I thought we were playing. YOu need to stop using insults, even in play.

edit:

I realize I didnt state my case well. I made an insult too. I was playing around. obviously, dew didn't take it that way. I apologize for that.

However, the post I deleted used foul language and was clearly aggressive and mean-spirited, and that's why I did it.

I didn't realize I was using foul language, but nevertheless, I apologize also if I offended you.  If we're going to cut out the insults, then I suggest you review other threads because insults are everywhere.

I would request, More Dew, that you read the Forum FAQ before you post anything further.  (Located in the Site News topic.)  It's obvious that you either haven't read it, or haven't cared about what it said.

Did you read the FAQ?  If so, go to the Introduce Yourself thread.

well, see, I did. and I grew up thinking it was ok in small little doses, but I realized two things about it:
a) it doesn't work with new people who don't know me yet.
and
b) even meant in fun, it eventually tears down and wears out and isn't worth it in the end except in very small doses.

Well I'll bridge a gap here, when MoreDew calls you a name or insults you, he does it because he cares.  Well, sometimes.

Anyway SE you do have to realise that you allwayse come off as very confrontational to new people, and I can easly see why he reacted in the way he did.  Heck you know you like to bate people into arguments.  When I first met you I had the same reaction to a lot of your stuff too.  Of course I know you now and realise that you're not purposly comeing off that way, but it's how you word your replys, yet even then we still get into skuffs becaue we read each other posts wrong.  Now I don't know what Dew said (allthough knowing him I can guess), but I'm sure he wasn't trying to offend in any way.

I'll agree with that. I can be very in your face. That's why I'm willing to just go on, and why I said I was sorry for what I did. Maybe I'll just stop calling things gay. Even though they are.
Wait, that's exactly the sort of thing you're talking about, isn't it?

No, I agree lots of things are Gay (meaning stupid) not gay (as in you live in San Fran if you like).

actually, when I've been saying gay, I've been refering to san francisco gay.

Also, I meant in my last post that getting that one last jab in under the radar was what gets on people so bad.

Actually, I interpreted Gay as San Fran gay.  Of course, I also interpret it as being stupid.  And Sprig is right, I wasn't trying to be offensive with the things I said.  It was all in good fun.
