WWE Wrestling

Is it just me, or does wrestling really suck now?  Ever since WWE bought out WCW and ECW (extremely crappy wrestling) it seems that the storylines have gone down the tubes... or been hit in the head too many times with a steel chair.  It seems that they're trying to make the schmos into really great wrestlers (which they aren't) because the real talent decides to pursue other careers--prime example is The Rock, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin.  Now your "big" stars are Randy Orton, Batista, and John Cena.  Who the hell are these guys and what makes them so damn cool that I'm supposed to give over my hard earned dinero to see them?

Granted, there are still wrestlers in there that helped to create the business like Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, but they're freaking old!  How am I supposed to cheer for them when they come out with a walker or their man-boobs are hanging down to there knees?

See, I havn't watched wrestling sicne the old days. It's a wussy soap opera now, but it used to be hardcore. When I watched it, Randy Savage was a part of the WWF not the WCW, and when they wanted a guy to bleed, they didn't use fake blood, they slipped them a razor and told them to cut themself.

Back then, theyt didn't need fake psychos like mankind, because you had real psychos like the udnertaker around.

Yeah, I'm talking back in the days when Rey Mysterio Jr. went up against Psychosis and took him down with a flip from the top buckle.

I admit that the old days were great.  Undertaker and Rey Misterio are still around, but they're not as hardcore as they used to be.  The last time i saw Randy Savage do any kind of wrestling was in Spiderman as Bonesaw (and I can't forget to mention that the Almighty Bruce Campbell as the Ring Announcer).  I think they still slip the wrestlers razor blades and all that, but its very rare anymore.

Yeah, Undertaker can't be considered hardcore until he tries to bury someone alive again.

Haven't watched wrestling in years, but I think their promlem was on a long time comming.  Mostly becsaue they relied so much on old stars and not trying to make lots of the younger ones more popular, and the few breakout ones (Rock) have more or less stoped because they make more cash doing other thigns.  Now all the old guys are too old and not doing much anymore, yet they never had the backups to replace them.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

The last Buried Alive match that Undertaker was in was about a year ago, and his opponent was Vince McMahon.  Undertaker would cream McMahon, as most of you would think, but no, Undertaker lost that match.  It didn't really help that his brother Kane interfered and cost him the match.  I lost all respect (if I had any in the first place) for the Taker then and there.

If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Is fakeness a hang-up for you? That must mean that you also hate all television shows and movies.

:o Wrestling is for homos!?  :o  Dude!

I mean, I always felt uncomfortable when I saw it on television but...  This explains so much.

I'm not talkign about a buried alive "match", I'm talking about Undertaker trying to bury some other wrestler outside of the ring, just because he can, no match involved.
