Darwinia

Read the review: http://www.timewastersguide.com/view.php?id=1256

The soul-collecting thing sounds a lot like Sacrifice (http://www.timewastersguide.com/view.php?id=53), and I've always wanted someone else to try it.

I sent the review to Introversion. The don't have a long list of reviews posted, just the big game-reviewers, so it probably won't get linked. But it's a positive review, so hopefully they like it.

I'm downloading the demo now. I worry about it being repetitive, but hey, Uplink was kinda repetitive, and it was still worth buying.

I played both demos. It's very repetitive, but utterly amazing, engaging with a great storyline to boot.

Uhm, can we modify the reviews to include the screenshots I submitted? In a review where I talk about hte graphics so much, I think screenshots would really help :/

Ent-  In the future, may I suggest using photobucket or something like it to host your screenshots and then just including the tag in your submission?

I for one would like to see the screenshots you are referring to and it's far more likely that they'll make it into your article if you handle the hosting yourself.  Maybe you already did that and they still didn't make it in, I don't know... but this method works for my movie blurbs.

I played the demo last night. Man, those Introversion guys are *creative*. Even though I could easily see how the gameplay itself might get old, even the demo had a great little story. I'm seriously considering buying this, just because I love the sheer amount of innovation in it.

Perhaps it's just me but the screenshots are now occluding big blocks of text.

Absolute positioning is doesn't work well in firefox. Shouldn't these be thumbnailed links to the full pictures?

Skar - i've got my own webhosting so I could easily have hosted the pictures, just I think it's best to keep all TWG related materials on the one server. Maybe in the future i'll put temporary links in to the pictures on my webhost so that even if theres a slight delay in them going up, they are still in the actual review.

meh. I"ll fix it.
y'know
eventually.

edit:
wait, they aren't absolute. They're relative. I think it's a firefox problem though, because IE does it right even if I do full screen. it knows not to cover anything else up.

Another strike against Firefox in my book

I'll work something out though. It'll take a minute.

fixed.
It was a width tag. Apparently, Firefox thinks that if you've specified a width, the style/formatting should be that width, but the content should stretch out if it needs to.
