Thank you FMP.  I am now, officially, not alone on the site in thinking that the latest Narnia film[/url] was badly done.  Hooray!

Oh, never fear. You're far from alone, Skar. While I own every single 4-disc version of the LOTR movies, I refuse to buy the new Narnia movie. Blah. What disturbes me is how many people think it's so wonderful. :(

Perhaps I'll have to give specifics when I've got more time (though I kind of hesitate to even spend time on this flick).

Lord Ruler and Lady Protractor were off on vacation, thus the angles running amok.

I'm pretty sure that of all the reasons for me to burn in hell, buying Narnia is not among them.

I think the Fawn and Lucy part should have gone something like this...

Lucy: "what is this magical place?"
Fawn: "Well, You're in Nunya"
Lucy: with awe "Nunya......"
Fawn: "Nun'ya freakin' business!!"

This dialogue alone would have saved the movie for those who did not like it.

I didn't buy the movie.. I think my wife wants too.

I know! It's so weird, I think they where brainwashed while watching it and that we are the few who were able to resist it.

Oh, it's much more insidious than that. They ate up all the Turkish Delight, which was not, shall we say, your average Turkish Delight.

All I say is that a movie that makes almost 300 million can't be as bad as the haters make it out to be, it's made more then any of the Potter movies but the first one, and just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're bad movies.

Pity, I haven't seen either Narnia or Kong.  But Silent Hill was ok.  I think it's important to spend my limited resources on the movies that really matter.    ;D
