« on: March 22, 2009, 10:12:40 PM »
Hi, The police came to my appartment today.
Apparently I am the suspect of membership in Terrorist organization.
They said and i Quote"You are a dushbag and Im taking your Computer away."
Why? I ask.
He shurgs his shoulders and smiles"I dont know sir, Im just here to get paid"
Ok.. So I slap this man so hard he flies into the wall and breaks his neck.

Umm…I'm goin' with false.

And for the record, it's 'douchebag,' not 'dushbag.' Not that you should be using language like that on this forum, anyway.

And just for the record…that's not how you spell 'Ascension.'

Try spell check some time. You could really use it.

Just because we can read it doesn't mean that watching the english language be butchered is an enjoyable expierence... and this entire thread is inappropriate!

the forum HAS a spellcheck option for a reason, because most people here are rather well-read individuals who keep within the bounds of grammatical correctness. That being said, i can't really fault you if english isn't your first language, as I don't know your grasp of the language itself.

Also, this thread has no point that I can see.

Someone said Madjius was deleted already.  Not sure he actually sees this.  But I can say, this is an informal setting and most of what goes on here is quick notes.  It's pretty pedantic to correct each other's grammar and spelling in posts unless there is a real problem with understanding.  ;)

If you get a charge out of it maybe teach fourth grade English?  :P

Your use of the word 'pedantic' is very iffy because it varies from person to person…if someone is obviously putting no effort in spelling things correctly or using proper grammar, I see no problem with pointing that out to the person. Obviously, you don't feel this way. So it's pedantic to you; not necessarily to everyone else. Just clarifying.

We are also in the habit of mercilessly teasing those that don't bother to adhere to standard grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules here.

Funny, I'm hearing the theme to "The Pink Panther" only with words...

I'd like to add that, since I went in and added the "Fnord" option to the poll, it has gained 100% of the votes that have been cast.  Yay for me.
