Cartoon Network recently released something I've been waiting for for a long, long time... a Space Ghost compilation DVD. I just finished watching that and the Aquateen Hunger Force compilation DVD. These are must haves if you like these shows. Two thumbs way up!
I just can't wait for the Sealab 2021 DVD to come out.
-
yay! joy!
Rapture!
/me adds to Christmas list.
How complete is it?
-
Neither is complete, especially the Space Ghost collection.
Each has 16 episodes (which is the vast majority of the ATHF series) some commentaries and other extras.
You can get them bundled on Amazon together for like $40, which saves like $20 off retail.

Man, it seems like I need these things to make my life feel like a good thing. I can't wait till I can get those. MMMmm space ghost.
-
Just FYI there are new Space Ghost episodes on Adult Swim now. But if you're a real SG fan you need this (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/shop/ultimate/ult/dsk/ULT14SGH1001.01.html).

I caught the first two new episodes of Space Ghost, but missed the last of the three last night. I wish I'd remembered to tape it as I have been a huge SG fan since Undergrad. That was a Sunday night ritual for us.
I only wish I could afford the desk set
-
Whoa. Thats so totally awesome. Wish I could get one. But I do have a feeling its a bit of fluff from CN. Seeing as how they have that other ultimate gifts stuff. Kids Next Door treehouse, 1 mil. Powerpuff girls bedroom, just under 100 grand. If that desk was real, man oh man, I might as well turn to theivery.

I have at least 16 episodes tapes from the first few seasons. I had to force my brother, who is a big ESPN fan, to let me watch them.
However, the DVD is definitely something I want.
-
Yep I saw a yard gnome once,... didn't scare me!
Banjo, Banjo, BANJO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have about 75% of the SG C2C episodes taped off of Cartoon Network, but the DVD is still really cool.
The thing is that they can't put all the episodes out as some of the interviewees wouldn't agree to it. So Cartoon Network is running a SG marathon with those episodes in January. How cool.
Just to note, my favorite episode has to be "Waiting for Edward" with Dennis Leary. No one has ever gotten as raked over the coals on SG as Dennis, and that's saying something.
-
/me looks into getting that taped.
-
My favorite=The Macho Man Randy Savage as Space Ghost's grandfather.
Close second=the one with 'Buster' Rhymes.
-
Yes, "Flipmode" with Busta Rhymes and Randy Savage as SG's granddad are both great episodes also.
The Justice Hole is a newer one that ranks pretty high, also
-
"Outside the Hall of Justice....
...Is this hole.
...of Justice."
Ah, good times. Good times.

I like Space Ghost, but on the current line-up of Adult Swim shows (ATHF, Sealab, SG, and Brak show) I really think it's the weakest of the four. Am I missing something?
-
I can't say as I have a bias towards SG due to years of watching him with close friends. If it weren't for SG, there would be no Adult Swim.
As for the other Adult Swim programs, the funniest by far has to be Sealab 2021. There's not even a close second.
