A big fluffy omlet with lots  of melted cheese peppers onions
bacon bits and sausage with a tall glass of orange juice

Hot tea sounds really good too

I think my all-time favorite would be the classic steak and eggs, maybe with some hash browns and sourdoe toast.

lucky charms and a glass of juice. Plus sometimes half a grapefruit. Call me the carb man.

I'd have a protein oriented meal, but there's no way I'm waking up earlier than 6 on a regular basis, and there's just no time to make eggs or anything.

Unless i just need something quick, cereal doesnt do it for me unless I eat like 5 bowls, then I just feel sick from too much milk.

My breakfasts are so boring. Cold cereal and yogurt.
Silk soy yogurt. Usually lime, lemon, or raspberry flavored. If I'm still hungry, I'll have a bowl of Grape Nuts Flakes or Wheaties or Wheat Chex or whatever is moderately healthy and available in the pantry, with vanilla soy milk.

This morning--a cup of hot cocco. I didn't have any whip cream (sad!), so it was plain, but it's one of my favorite treats, especially when the idea of making breakfast seems insurmountable.

Normally, I eat a better breakfast than that, but we're out of my breakfast staples (ham, bagels, etc.).

I think my current favorite is chocolate chip pancakes. The melted chocolate chips is like having pockets of creaming syrup on the inside of your pancake.

Makes me want to make pancakes for dinner. I bought a box of Bisquick before the holidays and completely forgot it was there.

Mmm, Bisquick. I have to make mine from scratch. Normally, I wouldn't mind--pancakes are not that complicated--but Bisquick mix always seems to come out fluffier.

Yeah, I like making them from scratch, too, but it's so much quicker with a mix. And there's that buttermilk flavor to it that I don't take the time to get when I make them from scratch.

You could always make them from scratch with buttermilk,
or ... slightly soured milk

My little brother stupidely ate a bowl of cereal with buttermilk
that was great - the look on his face when he took the 1st bite - priceless

See, that's the step I'm too lazy to do from scratch. When I was a kid, we kept a buttermilk mix on hand just for buttermilk pancakes. I'm getting hungry here.

ah yeah, well it's always good to be eating a huge bowl of tomato soup and crackers while reading a post like this.
