Well, I'm married too, but my wife continually recounts to me the virtues of Brenden Frasier (I know, I know), so I figure that I can mention the occasional looker.
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier.

See, my wife doesn't do stuff like that. Before we were married she had a shrine to Harrison Ford, but that was before. Heck, she edits the comic books I read.

I hate to say it but my Matrix appreciation lamp has sort of blown out. I keep seeing the trailors and thinking big fat hairy deal. I really dont know why.

Monica Belluci...I still say Kelly Hu is cuter. At least each movie gets its hottie.

I think Kelly Hu was only cute in The Scorpian King because she was mostly naked. She just doesn't look that hot in X2.

Monica Belluci, on the other hand, apparently does a lot of stuff completely naked. At least, my google search for her turned out to be very non-work-safe.

Maybe I just prefer asians to italians. Too many Kung Fu movies, not enough gangster movies.

I finally saw the Reloaded trailer on TV yesterday.  Wow.  I'm pumped again. I'm really looking forward to it.

I guess I'm feeling the opposite of several others here.  I was excited about X2 until I saw the trailers.  It just looks...boring.  The first trailer I saw for it was ahead of About Schmidt and was quite possibly the most lackluster, boring trailer I've ever seen.  I think it tainted me.

Ok mountain dew has just made me want to see the matrix reloaded less. Now I have to deal with quasi intellectual types sitting next to me in the theater explaining to their dates that the Matrix could be true.

Yeah it could be, and I could be the next president of the World.

ERCH!

Ah but then you lean over and tell them that they are the NPC's, the guys who get shot and posessed and who have their phones nicked by keanu. Suckers.

Ouch I've been reading the reviews on rottentomatoes.com, right now it's rotten, and even the reviews that like it say the the story sucks big time.  And basicaly its nothing more then a chinese action movie with good special effects and same cheesey dialouge.  And that it tries to act smart but isnt.  So bacialy if you like senceless, repetive action (the car chase and Neo's fight with the multiple Agient Smiths are the wost offenders which are 2 minute action scenes streched out to 10+ minutes).  I was afraid that this was going to be like the starwars movies, emphasis on special effects and no real story.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Damn the fickle demons of hollywood! You have betrayed me yet again, oh evil and cruel spawn of satan!

(On the other hand, the film critics panned the first matrix film so...)

My coworker got to see a special advance of Matrix: Reloaded last night.

He says that it IS more than just a sfx fest. There is some very clever dialog and he enjoyed the story. Plus you get to see Keanu Reeve's naked butt! Oh wait, that was something that made him want to hurl. He says that is during a scene in Zion, if you want to keep an eye out for it.

So, in short, I'm excited to see it again.

I think I'll hold off for a few weeks...
Then I'll sneak my own snacks into the theater and enjoy it.
