sick
« on: April 29, 2004, 12:01:42 PM »
so many of you may have noticed I wasn't on much yesterday.

This is because whatever evil gods I offended struck me down... in my bowels... on Tuesday night and I really didn't feel like even sitting up most of yesterday. I ate nothing. All I consumed was half a glass of OJ, which made me worse, and a glass each of apple juice, gatorade, and water. Also, two little tiny yellow pills that appeared to be too small to be capable of affecting my nausea in anyway.

Anyway, I felt worse than I've probably ever felt in my life. It's made me decide to live a life that keeps me from anything vaguely uncomfortable.

I feel better today, though my stomach feels weak, and I did manage to eat a bowl of cereal and a bunch of Wheat Thins. I've been sipping at a giant mug of Gatorade today too.

However, all night I had this inexplicable aching in all of my upper joints. I slept very poorly. It lasted for about an hour after I woke up. I almost skipped work again over it, though the prospect of not getting paid at all drove me in. Now I feel as if I'm going to pass out.

so... entertain me folks.

Yeah, me too.

I'm sorry about the OJ, Saint. It's for colds, not flus. The extra acidity is yucky that way.

Ibprofen is very good for achiness, if it strikes again. It's also good for cramps, but you probably don't care much about that.

I am sorry too, SE.  I rarely get sick, although I never have a morning appetite so I don't eat breakfast and am dying by 11:45 when the school board allowes us children folk to eat.  Then I get home and just eat until I sleep.  It's a good system... so I know what it is like to wanna pass out at a place of work/education...

this is an interesting phenomenon of humanity. You complain a bit, and everyone tries to make it all better.

Yeah SE, I was really just trying to put things in perspective, along the matter that my thyroid gland doesn't work and therefor my eating habits are a living torture when dealing with the confining limits of school.  So in reality, I was covering up my complaining by using yours as a scapegoat....  and I am glad you are back to your old, observient self!
