Finished, and also got the sticker.

Yay for stickers!

I wanted to put it on my forehead (I think I'm channeling my five-year-old self at the moment), but Chris wouldn't let me. I had to settle for putting my "I Voted" sticker on my hand instead.

They had a table full of them, and I suppose I was just supposed to grab one, but they didn't offer one to me. Oh well. That was the shortest ballot I've ever seen. Only about 8 people and one initiative, and it wasn't even a punch ballot--it was one sheet and used a scantron for black ink.

I put the sticker on my forehead because there was no one there to stop me.

I voted, in case you were wondering (you probably weren't) not for Bush or Kerry. They both frighten me. I remembered at the last minute reading an interview in 1994 in Newsweek, a magazine I usually disagree with. The interviewee was a politician usually denigrated and I found myself very impressed, not with the interview, but the way the interviewee lived his life and responded to the issues. So I wrote his name in

Dan Quayle in 2004 baby!
I wrote in Colin Powell as VP, a last second change from Elizabeth Dole.

I wrote my own name in for Congress.

Mine was wierd.  It was all electronic and stuff.  I didn't really understand it but there was a guy with a horsey on his shirt who helped me with the buttons and things.  He was really nice.  He gave us all lollipops when he took us back to the group home.

I voted.  I did end up voting for Bush--while I don't like the way he runs his cabinet, I do approve of his war efforts, and figured that I should give him my support.  I didn't think of writing in Quayle--but I might have, had I considered it.

In other news, I voted for a democrat for governor!  Believe it or not!  (I liked his education platform, and Utah needs to focus on that area.)
