So did you strike for your rate, or did you sign up to be a Marine Science Technician? What exactly are you doing in DC if you can talk about it?

You cant strike MST, too much science. I wish I could have struck it though.

As for what I do I'll just quote from another thread...

You always on the night shift or do you get to rotate?

Have been since this summer, I kind of like it, since my schedule in the military is CAKE. Sunday Night -Thursday morning 2100-0600

and thats why I have a second job kiddies.

I would take that schedule over mine any day of the week. 6-6 Rotating shift work. Mess with your mind. You never know if it is the ass-gas that comes spewing out of the control room or the psychosis of never seeing the light of day

yeah, we used to do that...

The one I hated most was 24 hours on 48 off.  Sure you get a lot of time off.... but the turnaround is murder.

Well, we should get a decent amount of time off except for one tiny little problem. We are majorly under staffed so that means a buttload of overtime. Good thing is that I get paid for overtime, bad thing I never have time to spend it becuase I'm always working. the turnovers are lousy, but thats the price for working in an industry that requires to be monitored 24hours a day.

I'll give you a hella for that. I want to come game too! My lotto dreams include many many acres of land so that I can build my mad scientist lair full of my home constructed Tesla Coils and lifters and where I can trap shoot anything I desire! Mwa ha ha ha

Umm, it is quite possible. Though my parents deny it, but I still ascertain that I am a secert government experiment in gene manipulation and was given to my parents to see what would happen. We could actually be brothers.
