See, I usually go to movies with EUOL. It's a date, he pays, it's nice.  ;) But he went with some guys from TWG and his writing group, and I didn't want to intrude on the male bonding (I don't think I would have been allowed, anyways). I'm broke at present, so I have to wait for EUOL to come back from Idaho and take me to it.

So, yea, I guess I am a nerd. A penniless nerd. :P

Tell me about it. Especially when you're boyfriend is also a starving artist. So everyone buy EUOL's book and make him rich and famous so he can take me to Star Wars III (you see, my motives are entirely selfish).  :)

Well someone ought to be rich around here.  I've got my two copies already.  Now I'm just out to get my coworkers (who are tech support and therefore all nerds) to buy his book too.

No I disagree, a nerd would not have seen it yet.

I've heard of it, and have been meaning to watch it. One of EUOL's friends is Firefly's biggest champion, and he raves about it, and grumbles that it was a conspiracy that got it cut.

Of course. Didn't you know that EUOL just has Tor write his checks to me? It's much simpler that way.

So do you think that the movie will be good? I'm not sure how I feel about movies adapted from TV shows. I guess the only one I know is X Files, which was decent but not excellent in my opinion.

I better go do some non-nerdy stuff like read d&d books and paint miniatures and study quenya.

Everybody is so quiet. Last I checked it's just stacer and Jeffe and I on. We need a topic, apparently.

Has everyone seen Star Wars III except me? (I've been avoiding that thread so it isn't spoiled for me, so *PLEASE* don't put any spoilers here.)

I haven't either! My company did a prescreening during church, and my friends from Seattle didn't have my phone number when  they went last weekend.

I'm picking up a wireless signal from the neighbors and it's really spotty, so that's why I can't respond so quickly. I'm going to bed now. I can't wait to get my internet hooked up at home! Grrr...
