Much like Eric Snider, I imagine. Of course, I always laugh along when Snider offends the easily-offended, and I have to admit I thought the fan reaction from the furry crowd was kinda funny. I just thought Chris wouldn't be so... touchy, so I was surprised.

Sorry Kid, I didn't see your email with the review until just now. With all the construction at the new house, I haven't had a chance to set up my computer yet, and I rarely check my home email from work. Do you think you could just post it as a guest review, and Dan can look at it tomorrow? Or rather, later today, since it's Monday now...

The thing that surprised me was that Chris from Polymer City Chronicles got all riled up about it. I hadn't ever thought of PCC as a "furry" comic, but apparently the author does. Well, I guess Kurtz certainly accomplished what he set out to do.

I'm a big fan of Scream as well. It's just a really well done slasher-horror flick. And since practically ALL slasher-horror flicks suck, Scream is that much more entertaining.

As long as we're going with childhood nightmare-inspiring movies, who can forget Watcher In the Woods? Wow, that is still a freaky movie.

*sigh*

This is just giving you WAY too much power... but you're now a mod for everything but RPGs (where we have active department heads).

I don't know. I haven't heard of submissions not working for anyone else, but I'm not sure if anyone else has tried.

And I'm moving this to the suggestion area.

Okay Sprig, you now have full access through the admin filemanager. Try not to destroy anything.

What were the titles and for which departments? The notifier still says there are no new articles and nothing to approve, so either Dan did them or something still isn't working.

I don't know why I didn't see this before. I must have been in one of those "ignore Spriggan" moods.  :P

Fell, any problems with giving Sprig full site access for a week so he can tweak the search functions for everyone?

I wouldn't say he's a *bad* writer, he just had some shortcomings. And Jackson is trying to make up for some of those shortcomings in the movie translation. Tolkein couldn't write women, for example. Women play some very important roles in the books, but always sort of behind-the-scenes. Tolkein also couldn't write battles very well, and that's something Jackson is definitely making up for.

Anyway, I agree. Jackson is doing a great job.

Well, the most important question (to me) wasn't addressed at all:

When?

I just picked up "Zen and the Art of Motercycle Maintenence" a couple weeks ago. It had been on my to-read list for a long time, since I'd had SO many people recommend it to me. Now I see why. The book is truly amazing. Personally, I think it should be required reading for the entire human race.

I've become very disenchanted with NWN. It just can't do all the things I want to do with it.

And I just bought WC3 this weekend. I'm halfway through the Undead (second of four) campaign, and all I can say so far is:
I like StarCraft better.

Wow, how long has this been around? And why didn't I think to look for an official website earlier?
