So.... what WAS the point of this movie?
I like the thought of it being done in one take. Penguin, if you're watching, was it one long shot? Or was it multiple shots with one take each? That might be worth seeing just to see.

It was one, long take, which was fairly impressive, because the Hermitage seems to be pretty big, but that sort of wears off after you've been sitting there watching the camera meander through the museum.
Judging from the special features found on the disk, the director was commisioned to make a documentary type thing by the museum, so it seems that he was looking for a way to make it more interesting then just another documentary. Didn't do very well, though.
But I agree, if you're really interested in film making, it might be worth seeing if you can stand waiting around for the few interesting parts.

Well, the Hermitage is pretty big. I've been there and there are at least three levels of this big old palace. Anyway. thanks for the review.
