Never in my life did I ever imagine that I'd be called an angry ditch digger. Wonders never cease. Sorry, just had to get that off my chest. Us angry ditch diggers are just tempramental like that.
-
I blame society.
-
i blame lack of titles for naturists
-
Naturists have titles, but only those unspoiled by industrialization can see them.
-
Okay, you people are really starting to scare me now....
-
Wait, then...do industrialists then have titles that naturists can't see?
Kind of like an alignment language? :)
-
The naturists can see the industrialists' titles very well, but no one else can see them because they're blocked out by the naturist picket line.
-
At least your angry, Im just a ditch digger
-
At least you're a ditch digger, I'm just a number. Whatever moron writes those level names had better get on the ball.
-
For those of you not in on the joke, the responsible party would be... Fellfrosch.
-
Or me! I've always wanted to be a scapegoat! Moo!
-
Moo?
-
Or is it Meow? I've sorta missplaced my dog for the moment.
-
I'm pretty sure goats go "baa"
-
You'll prove nothing!
-
I don't care if you moo or baa or quack, just get those level names written now! Chop chop!
-
what sound does a 21 make?
-
The sound of a mime being killed by a tree falling in the forest when no ones around.
-
wow, that clears that up for me
-
But what if the mime was able to get some ropes on the tree and tie them down to the ground, therefore preventing the tree to fall down. Then the mime went to get some of his friends and brings them to the tree, unties the ropes, then there would be others to hear it fall.
Does that help Fell?
-
How did the mime get his friends out there if he couldn't talk to them to tell them about it.
More to the point, how did this hypothetical mime get "friends" in the first place? He's a MIME!
(I can say things like that, my uncle not only plays accordian and appeared in a SLC production of "The Barber of Fleet Street" but is in fact, a mime...)
-
My question is, is the mime deaf or just insignificant? A tree falling on a mime with no one around to hear it is a situation I have trouble visualizing, since that mime would have to be: a) close enough to get hit by the tree; and b) far enough away not to hear it.
-
The mime most certainly does have friends. Since he did go to mime school, he was bound to be holding someone else's "rope." And secondly, I believe Fell likes to hear himself in his head as he rereads his posts. Thirdly, I think we should get Ehlers uncle on this.
-
Ahhh the joy of advancing to the level of Gardener,... a Dark Evil Gardener!!!! Muhhhahahahahaah!!!!!!!!!!
I cast cone of silence on the mime and the tree to settle the dispute. And then conjure up some popcorn to watch the fun.
-
Err...well...werer...ererrBAhhahwhaw! Why? Why must you do that? Poor mime fellow. If I ever meet a mime, I'll make him/her my best friend. Stupid El Jeffe. :P
-
I wish you the best of luck with your mime lacky... they make the worst lemonade, and really tick you off when they get caught in the imaginary box.
Bah Mimes, when you care enough to send the message that says absolutely nothing!
the views expressed in this post are not the views of the Commonwealth of Virginia, The US Coast Guard and your Mom! :P

So when does the TWG RPG start.?Im loving leveling up.
-
TWG RPG hahahahahahahahahahaha. ya that died like 6 months ago. But if you know anyone that would be willing for free to help build: clients, servers and protocols for the game then we might get it done.
-
It didn't technically die because it never technically existed. We had an idea for a combat system and a chat room, but the only RPG elements we were planning to incorporate were the levels. EUOL is the kind of person who designs complex stats and powers with the full knowledge that they are totally meaningless.
It's fun to level up, though, isn't it?
-
then I changed the combat system and stats (though I never changed them on the site) and actualy learned all the severside stuff I needed to do to get the game to play the way we wanted.
-
I'm getting pretty good at Sprigganese, but I'm going to have to ask you to rephrase that one for me.
-
wow that one was bad : :-[
-
blah
-
blah blah
-
blah blah blah
-
Blah blah blah blah.... nothing makes sense anymore does it?
-
Nothing (no thread, howsoever old it may be) dies, does it, with newbs around? Behold a thread from 2003. Oy!
-
2002 actually, plus he posted 4 times in a row. Â Not cool GLE, keep this up and you'll probably have a very unfriendly time at TWG.
-
/me beats this thing with a RPG, opens its mouth and fires the round into it, then throws the dead carcass off a cliff.
There, that should do it.
-
or I could lock it. GLE, I'm going to recommend hitting the FAQ (http://www.timewastersguide.com/boards/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=news;action=display;num=1080380396) and formally introducing yourself (http://www.timewastersguide.com/boards/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=news;action=display;num=1051196804)
a couple tips that you have missed. Please take this as very friendly, it's just an FYI so you understand the culture here:
- the Rants section doesn't mean "post anything at all that no one really wants to read just so you can level up" Trust me, you don't need to do that if you can respond thoughtfully. I do no "bump up" posts and I have more posts than the 2nd and 3rd most frequent posters *combined*
-Don't post anything mindless. Please have content in it that someone wants to read. We're into wasting time here, but we're into doing it in an entertaining way.
-Don't resurrect old threads. If it's a topic where discussion had paused, but now there's a new development, that's one thing. However, a 4 year old thread about a forum title hardly warrants such a move.
-especially don't resurrect an old thread just to post something mindless.
-don't "double post." That is, post something then immediately post to the same thread again. If you just forgot to add something, there's a handy "modify" link in each post that you can use. If it's been a while since your other post (say a day or so) feel free to add a new post with more content instead of modifying the old, however.
Most of the rest of the ettiquette should be in the FAQ linked above
