Oh man, you've got one of those cool hat thingys. I wish I could have one. Or maybe some sort of Commisar's hat. What a wonderful bunch of coconuts that would be.

Doodey-head. Anyways, Jeffe, sine I'm sure you get this question from every dang civilian from here to there, what are all those things on your chest mean?
-
secret code designed specifically to confuse civilians and make you feel inferior.
-
Well, I know at least that that isn't true.
-
i don't know why you think you know that. It's what it did.

the only ones that really mean something are the second and second to last (reading left to right from the top) The top left one says I have two meritorious team awards (Ribbon + star), which are awards for performing a special duty (in my case marching in a funeral for a head of state, and doing medical support for the commandants change of command) The second is my good conduct ribbon, which says I havent gotten in trouble since I've been in, I dont remember off the top of my head what the third is but the fourth is my Sea Service Ribbon, which says I served for two years on a ship and the last is a special operations ribbon for an anti-drug mission in the Caribbean (not nearly as exciting as it sounds)

Im only required to wear my top 5 and this was before I got the 9.11 ribbon.

I want to say number three was something like homeland defense....
