So, I know we've had a thread on this, but I can't find it.
Anyway, who's for Lucas simply giving up on Episode Three live-action and simply hiring Genndy to do an animated version for him? These were far better than the first two movies.
-
...is Genndy the guy who did the animated ones on Cartoon Network?
-
Yes, the animated ones are called Clone Wars, Gemm.
I can't stand the "ADD one-minute long" format. Drives me up the wall.
-
What did I say Fuzzy?
-
Ummm, you said nothing. Oops.
I apparently mistook Sminja for you. Probably has something to do with the fact that you keep changing your avatar so I no longer have a permanent picture associated with you.
-
Last weekend, cartoon network ran the series in half-hour blocks. It was a lot more watchable.
-
All I know is that the action figures suck. Even more than typical star Wars action figures do. Someone download all the episodes and burn them to CD for me or soemthing.
-
Ah, well I'll be sticking with this one. Unless others feel that Zoidburg knitting fits me better.
-
All I can say, SE, is that even with a dial-up you should try and watch them. I thought they were amazing.
Near the end, there is a scene where Anakin is standing in a storm, drops of rain hitting his lightsaber and bursting into steam...well, it was just one of those moments in storytelling that remind me why I'm a writer. The entire series is fantastically directed, acted, and plotted.
-
I'm not in to the whole prequel story line, but this series is fun to watch, if only for the art directing. Same guy who does Samurai Jack. It's beautifully awsome.
-
Mega lame.
George Lucas wants me to give him $40 to see a cartoon he didn't write or direct. That's about stupid.
ANd no, it is NOT on CN's site anymore.
*shakes fist*
-
You have a link on that pricing/release information?
-
Thats to join the Starwars fanclub on the starwars.com site EUOL.
You do get to watch them in fullscreen there too.
-
If you get to watch them fullscreen, than he doesn't say it. You can't watch them even small screen without the membership, just see that they exist.
Why I should pay for Lucas to advertise to me I'll never know, which seems to be all the rest of the SW.com content.
-
Well the cartoon series did so well that Lucas ordered more of them. So you'll probaly see the old ones appearing back on CN.com once those are out (early next year). I'm stoked for a DVD of them all becasue there's nothing like wathing all of them in a row.
-
I thought the cartoons were really good, but the one minute format bugged even me and I'm really ADD(on medication for it)
-
You and everyone's brother.
-
I'd like too take this opportunity to add: It bugged my brother and my freind brigg's four brothers too.
-
I meant were diagnosed with ADHD
Everyone on the planet has it. What a major disability.
-
Yeah but I mean the kind where something makes a tiny sound or movement and all your focus is instantaneously shifted to it, my freinds when tey want to bug me start snapping back and forth on either side of my head until I get dizzy and fall over....(must kill noah)
-
ok, this may sound like I'm picking on you, but if they can do that, then why the frick do you keep taking hte medication? It's obviously not doing a lick of good, and therefore can only be doing bad.
Some of us learn to deal with the disability without drugs. I'm not saying that's a higher moral ground. I'm just saying, that for some people, we can learn to structure our lives and activities to deal with it without pharmaceuticals. Not everyone can. But since the drugs aren't working, you might want to try it.
-
actually that only works when I forget my concerta, should have added that part... but I can use my ADD to an advantage: It seems I'm more perceptive than most(caused by high levels of dopamine and seratonin) and I never get borred(at least not easily) and I get out of timed tests at school.
