What is wrong with people?

All of these films apparently have impenetrable plots that require note taking and 5 viewingsto understand. Yeah. So how come i managed to understand the plots of all three after 1 viewing and a bit o' thinking? Considering how stupid i am, its not as though it can be difficult. Do critics actually bother to concentrate, or do they just jack off in the aisle during the dialogue scenes?
