ok, 10:30, 8:30 for Utards

a term I assume Fell edits primarily because you can't come up with a good variation of Virginian without implying something sexual)

I'll be pushing it to start at 8:30, since I have to drive home from Logan after work (about 2 hours) and then see my children for the first time in 2 days. I'll see what I can do, though.

RARR!

Ok, folks, do we need to reschedule when these chats are normally? If no one can make them on time or near thereto, we can change when they are.

Wednesdays really are a better night for me, what with the tutoring on Tuesdays.

I really can't say when is best for me because my schedule isn't firm yet (here's hoping that happens soon!)  And anyways I've got this trillian thing up and I really don;t know how it works, so if any of you read this and notice that I'm not chatting with you then post here and tell me what to do.

Thanks!

have you got an AIM nick?

Duh, yeah, one in your profile. Can you connect? or do you need help with that?

well I've got the window up and the only thing on the screen says offline contacts.

There is a button that says global connection and I pressed it and selected global reconnect, but nothing happened.

Do I need to do something different?

I'll be posting a thread for more follow up tomorrow sometime on Peks chapter 3.

ok, Fell never showed up, so next week we'll do Krag chap 4-5 and Peks Chapter 4.

Do we still need to choose a new meeting time?

There is virtually no time that is convenient (read: possible) for me to meet under current circumstances. Possibly late night on a weekend.

Tuesday nights are fine with me. This week I forgot Writing Group because I hadn't gone more than once, and so I planned something before it.

Wednesdays, and Thursdays are also good.

ok, let's move it to Wednesdays, and Fell will join us when his life is slightly more manageable
In the mean time, we can press on with what we've got.

So, next chat meeting, Wed, 1/14, 10 pm eastern, 8 pm mountain, we'll be discussing Peks 4, and MoD has said she wants us to look at a movie review. I'm sure we can handle a third short piece, if anyone needs.

Ok.  A question: would Saint and Gemm and anyone else prefer to have their stuff read one chapter at a time, or is it okay to read it all and only comment on the chapter at hand?

I don't mind if you read the whole thing at once, but I'm only going to lead discussions on my stuff one chapter at a time.
If you do read all the rest of what I've written, make sure you get the version with the new chapter divisions (found in the same place as the old version)

Thats right, almost forgot my thought. Well, you shouldn't really have a problem reading all of my first short story at once. The markers only denote where I want to cut it off when it goes into the newspaper.
