It was Battle.net that went with diablo that was the earth shattering thing JP, that was the first free over the net game like that.  Allowing thousands of people to connect and create games.

See, since I never played online, I kinda forgot about battle.net. That and the fact I want to repress memories of the people on it.

I think anyone that's spent too much time on Bnet has gone through extensive thearopy.  It could be worse though, you could have actualy gone to the poorly moderatied Bnet forums.
