Having eaten Ramen most lunches for a couple of months now, i dedicate a thread to it. Here's some tips I picked up:
The better quality ramen will sink. The worse uality ramen will float. Better wuality ramne can cost up to 25c instead of fifteen, but it's worth it.
For Ramen al Dente, simply cook it for less time so it's a bit firmer when you take it out.
Anyone else with any tips?

Boil an egg, chop it up, add to finished ramen. Had some friends that always ate ramen this way.
Or do as my sister and add lots of shredded cheese on top of it.
-
My tip is to buy a loaf of bread and some peanut butter.
-
I usually like to scramble an egg for that egg-drop soup effect to the ramen. Also, lots of peper and parmesan.
Also, I like to change the noodle length if I want a heavier sauce.
-
Add chicken and/or turkey, beef, garlic, carrots, some all-spice, celery salt and paprika, pepper and sprinkle some parmesean cheese on top. Eat with bread.
MMMMMMM, bread :P

life is like a cup of noodles, nobody ever follows the directions but it always comes out right in the end....
maruchan brand instant lunch is the best
-
Since when does life have directions to follow? I think the reason no one follows them is because no one knows what they are... Man, the life instruction people better get an advertising campaign or something...

prolly,

Max, remember to quote the person who said it when you are citing a quote...

uh sam I got to tell you I've seen that in over ten movies

I've often wondered if
Through my life I have
In any small way changed
someone.
The answer oddly came
One afternoon while
cooking packaged noodles
for lunch.
Adding spice to the broth
Changes not noodles,
Only the water that
they're in.
But when I raised the fork
to my waiting lips
The noodles repeated
the name
Of the flavoring I
had seen fit for me
to contribute. I have
never
Changed someone's life. But when
they leave my brot. I
know that they will carry
my taste.

That's, like, deep. Where is that from?

I wrote it almost 11 years ago.

I like it a lot. Good job.

Disturbing, but good.
