Well, I just went out and bought three new CDs the other day.
Kraftwerk - Radioactivity - An old disc, but I found it, and I want to get everything Krafty I can. It's really ambient, and only works as a production in itself, not individual tracks. I alos now like the track "Antenna" having heard it in context.
Benny Benassi Presents the Biz- Hypnotica - A brand new disc, but I got it for fifteen bucks, which is a great deal. I saw a clip of theirs on TV the other day and so looked for the album. It's very Devo-esque, although the voices are very MC Hawking. I originally found the ideas presented by the lyrics/music to be very similar to Devo, but then I found them to be more like Utah Saints.
Kraftwerk- Tour de France - The latest one is very good. It proves that even in 2k3, with all the funky soudns they can easily do, Kraftwerk are still able to produce interesting, original, intelligent music. With the whole man/machine thing its pretty easy to see how the bike race fits in - to win, you must combined perfection of man and perfection of machine. In any case, I'm impressed. I particularly liked the track "Vitamin".
Also, the copy protection on Tour de France is really, really pathetic - you can rip the tracks as normal with EAC.
