Dont stick out your tongue unless you know how to use it.

LOL.  See, you're stereotyping me again.  I didn't grow up in Mormondom.  I joined the church at 17.  It takes a whole lot more than that to offend me.

Fish, as a convert at BYU, what stupid questions do you get asked?

Well, there's the people who think it makes me a second-class member...

But mostly I just get people looking at me saying, "*You're* a convert?  I never would have guessed."  Whatever that means.  99% of people react that way, though.

When I was in Hawaii, this drunk guy asked me where my horns were when he heard I was from Utah.  That was probably the strangest question I've ever got.  Okay, not totally related, but that guy still cracks me up.

Figures.

The tounge thing made me think of it because one of my friends in the dorms freshman year told me that whenever another girl found out she was a convert the first question they'd ask would be, "Wow, are you a virgin?"  And she was like, "Um, apart from being a creepy question for you to ask out of the blue, it's not any of your business."

Consider it so.  If you can come up with anything that offends me that you're allowed to post here, I'll be very impressed.

"Wow, are you a virgin?"

Incredibly distasteful, I wonder what that subtext is?

"Would you tell me what not being a virgin is like?"
"Are you still slutty?"
"How do I pick up boys?"
"Die Infidel!!!"
"Im so sorry you lived the first part of your life in grevious sin."
"Stay away from my man."

My guess would be, "Lucky you, you got to fool around before you were accountable."

*laughs*  Well if I were tactless enough to say something like that, that would be my motivation.  I couldn't believe it either. I wondered if it was a common thing or if it was just that poor unlucky girl.

Though I just find it weird that THAT is the first thing that comes to mind?  Mine would probably be "Oh, have you ever been drunk?"
