I have spider solitaire on my Palm Pilot as well as on my laptop. Man, I love that game. It's so much better than regular solitaire. I have to ban myself from it most of the time because I accomplish nothing else. Though it's a nice time-wasting multi-tasker while watching a movie or TV.

So, while idley singing the Tetris theme music to myself on my way back from work, I finally put two and two (plus a few more) together. I had heard, in a fleeting moment that Tetris was made by Russians. Now, whenever I hear that word, I'll jump on their bandwagon, but I thought this might have been a bit incredulous. But then it dawned on me while singing it (humming is probably a better word) that yes, this is, indeed, made by Russians. My affinity for them has grown two-fold. Maybe even bi-polar-fold. Who knows.

I don't know about *the* greatest TWA, but for me, it's definately solitare.  I don't play Klondike (the usual one), but I do play all sorts of other ones for faaaar to long.  Spider solitare has gotten easy.  :-/

Bookworm is awfully addictive too, but I am convinced I get some value from it.

I'd like to put a vote in for all Massive Multiplayer On-line RPG's.

Why do people generally play RPG's?  Because they like the story, and like the epic progression of their character, who ends up saving the world.

What to MMORPGs do?  They take out the story, and replace it with mind-numbing, repetitive leveling.  Yet, people still play them--I even do occasionally.  It's quite the TW-scheme.

Tetris.  Without a doubt.  I am addicted, again, and can spend literally an entire night of insomia, up to 14 hours, playing it.  Although Macromedia Flash comes in a very close second.

Let's see, bubbleshooter and Tetris rank pretty high for me.

I have to say that Law and Order is a close third.

For me? Internet chatting, this damn forum, and playing computer games. Finished Max Payne 2 yesterday. Need to play more UT2004...

In fact, any puzzle game is a great TWA because they are always new and usually challenging

Me too, fuzzy! That and Monarch of the Glen and Touching Evil--both of which only waste an hour at a time, but are preferred timewasters.

This forum (because I read it when I should be working) and Starcraft. Man I can play that for hours and not even notice.
