I think a wassle has something to do with toasting. Maybe not.

I actually don't remember my first character. I think I atually had a first party. When I started it was just me and my twin. One of us would DM and the other would create a character for each of the classes. Then we would run them group of character throw Keep on the Borderland like a bazillion times.

actually, I don't know what a wassle is, but wassail is a traditional Christmas toasting drink. It also can mean the actual toast.

Currently it's a drink made with apple cidder.
It also means "drinking group" or attendants of the same celibration, meal or toast. Wassleing was used to refer to those street drinking in groups too. Think of Octoberfest and Newyears Eve.

Remember this is a carrol meant to be sung by people that drop by and sing good wishes to an open door at a party and everyone else inside can hear. It's a shout out to those they can't see. So in effect the song is saying merry Christmas to "you, your possy too."

(And you thought the SCA was all fun and steel)

PS- Wassail and Wassle (i've been corrected) were used interchangably in spelling unless you mean the drink, which is only spelled wassle.

My game is at a crossroads too.

We need to decide whether we:

1) Continue our Vampire: The Requiem Campaign
2) Start Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay v2.
3) Start Burning Wheel

or
4) Playtest Endless Hordes until Deadlands: Reloaded comes out.
