Raethe makes an excellent point... We are aspiring writers, mere social steps above 'starving artists', and only because what we do creates tangible results during it's progress.

This is true... IRC? MSN? Skype? We could embed a chat into a thread... ^^

The Church of Fell is located in the hearts of it's followers!... And in an undisclosed location in the rockies.

As for the bacon-ocity of the petite appetizers, yes, they are all related to either bacon or pants - for the Church of Fell endorses pants, for they are pantly, and awesome.

And that wasn't a lesbian joke, Raethe, it was an ambivalence joke. <.<;

RP Thread for the Wedding? I'm sure there's a board appropriate to it around here...

I didn't think Raethe was interested in men... Too busy being a mighty viking... :P

So... Wedding, huh? Want to get married in the Church of Fellfrosch? The chapel smells of bacon ^^ and we provide a free buffet of hors d'oeuvres.

Fell Bless,

One of the things this thread is for precisely.

If you aren't sure, throw a warning on it. At least then if someone gets mad at you, you can say that you fairly warned them - and you did. As for made-ups, I'd personally say no: Robert Jordan used made-ups all the time ("Blood and bloody ashes" anyone?), and so far as I know, nobody got on his case about it.

I'm not saying to slap on an S (sexual content), just because two characters kiss, but be mindful. Authors are supposed to be the most sensitive to the human condition (it's what we write about, after all), so pour a little sensitivity into your thoughts.

Questions about specific words can be posted here (I'll make sure it's cool with Raethe and Chaos), but make sure you put up an Explicit Content warning (like a spoiler warning). Worst thing that happens is that we take it down. ^^

You think we'd let you slip just because of a little thing like modship? The scriptures of His-Lordship-Who-Enjoys-Pants-and-the-Baconier-Parts-of-a-Pig state that all noobs and newbs alike shall be ridiculed and laughed at, and made to relive their shame for their many years to come.

As for the trinity... that'd be implying that his aforementioned lordship was equal to the others...

I think I know the issue - suspected it before. You and Raethe are merely 'Staff' as far as privileges go, even though you're listed as mod on the board; until the thing under your name reads 'Moderator', like Jade, you probably won't be able to find your options.

As I said, we can approach writing academically between genres. Alpha Readers tell us if they like or dislike the story, and if the genre you're reading happens to be one you like, then you're an alpha reader, and a peer reviewer; if not, then don't bash it for being from a genre you hate, just look at it's merits as a piece of writing and try to be fair.

I.e. I have a massive dislike of Anne McCaffery, for stylistic reasons. I can admit that from an academic PoV, it's sound and good writing, even though I don't like the theme of the story itself.

Child of Pollen, I am not shiny, for I do not have the glory that shininess requires, but a mere humble glow from brushing with such mighty beasts.

*glows*

As for prayer, his Lordship He-Who-Smileth-Upon-His-Followers-With-Righteous-Joy does enjoy the occasional recognition for the wonder he visits on this board. Pray where you will, for his mighty eyes shall read anything posted within this forum.

Alright, folks. There is a distinct possibility of us taking both as our chosen leaders.

If anyone has any problems with this course of action, tell me now, and your please will be ignored... I mean taken into account.

Please be prompt, as the decision will be made shortly.

Do it! If you need someone to scratch up the HTML or host the image, I can take care of that. My artistry is limited to writing.
