New movie coming out....American McGee's Alice movie

Any thoughts about the choice of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Alice? I was talking to a few people and I think that there are better people (Christian Ricci, Milla Jovovich, or Keira Knightley) but what do you guys think?

who SMG.....but I do not think that she could play this role very well.  To my it does not seem like her type of character

I don't have a problem with her playing Alice, especially since I probably wont see the movie because it'll be your standard crappy Hollywood slasher flick.

If you believe in it, the movie will not be a crappy Hollywood slasher flick......who am I kidding, I am just hoping to god that it is done right.  I would not think that it should be a slasher movie; the game is not a slasher type therefore the movie should not.  BUT I just read that it might be cancelled, Wes Graven decided not to direct it so it may never be made.

IMDB has Marcus Nispel ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre") as the director.

Incidentally, accordinig to IMDB, a movie titled "Alice" has been made every year since 2002. Maybe the should consider a different title...among other things.

Most of those are not the Alice in wonderland story, but a new title would not be a bad idea, but what would you call it?
