SPELL CHECKER

not sure if I am missing it or it is not here, I suck at spelling so I use spell checkers all the time.  It is a handy tool that I do not see here

Nope, no spell checker. This forum uses the el'cheapo version, so no clever features like that.

actually, There's a freeware forum out there that has a spell check, it was used for the first incarnation of AORP. I can't remember what it was called.

Anyway, the way many people do it is write their post in Word and then copy/paste. I don't know how easy it is to get a spellcheck to work with the software, I just wanted to make an option known.

not if you turn off the dumb "smart quotes" feature in Word. Which is an  impedence to most sensical uses of the word processor anyway.

Or just write it in Notepad, not Word.

Eh I don't think we need one as part of the forum, I know there are ones we can download for this forum but most people have easy access to their own spell checker.

Also as a note Legion,in the future please don't make forum topics all in caps.
