Who was protesting? It really isn't me, I swear. I promise. I tell you. Um, ran out of synonyms.

ah HA! So Stacer is behind this!

That doesn't make sense. I thought only Gemm would call Boston "provincial."

Provincial? Isn't that like a providence, but with more... provisions.... Yes.

I didn't say I was behind this. Beside it, more like.

Anyone would call Boston provincial if they were quoting the movie. Uncultured swine.

Quote the movie? Why would I do something like that.

Wow.  I'm away from the board for an evening and miss all the excitement.  I do hope there's more to this story.  (everybody loves a happy ending  ;D)

ok, no. This is where I draw the line.

1) I did know he/she/it was quoting the movie, I just found it an amusing incongruity with Boston
2) Even if I didn't, not knowing the lyrics to a song from WIMPY DISNEY FILM does not, has never, and never will constitute uncultured or swinehood.

Feh.

So... I'm not uncultured? or swinely-like?

Hey, I am a real person!  :'(
And yes, I am hiding behind the facade, name and photo of a Disney character but how is this very different from eveyone on this site... "Tage", "Gemm"?
"Mistress of Darkness"??

I don't hide. I really am a saint.

Let me be clear: you should probably discount 90% of what I say, especially if there's a way to take what I said as humor.
But also, I hope I didn't say there was something inherently wrong as using a disney character as a moniker. I didn't mean to. I just said there was something wrong with using familiarity with Disney as a basis for cultural literacy.
