EDIT: Really? A Junior Apprentice?! What does that even mean?! Whose apprentice am I? Doing what? I'm so confused.

I've now decided that I'm an apprentice to a master sorcerer who is teaching me all of the deepest mysteries of dark magic. That's it.

Yeah, Andrew, I think you're the apprentice to the apprentices....Making them the Senior Apprentices, and you the Junior Apprentice. So while they learn the deepest, darkest magic from the master, they probably don't teach you a whole lot of anything. You're like the serving boy. Just with a cooler title to theoretically make you feel better about yourself...Or something...

Exactly. At my workplace, I didn't have a job title, so my boss asked me what it should be. I said that it felt a bit like I was everybody's lackey, so he said "Exalted Lackey". Yeah. And then I got infected by special, strong jewelers' chemicals which do not, in fact, turn you into a superhero. They make you very, very sick.

You forgot to mention that there are normal Apprentices between the Senior Apprentices and the Junior ones. I mean, who wants to talk to a Junior Apprentice unless they have to?
