Mistborn Llama Story?! Do tell! ;D

Oh.  Okay then.  Hmm... Now I have to think up a new question.  No wonder the title of Super fan was basically thrust upon you.  Happy Birthday FRR.

I'd be interested in a in-universe chronology of the books.  For example:  First Adolnasium breaks.  Some odd thousand years later, Mistborn, with Elantris 250 years after that(on a planet far far away, obviously) ... etc.  I made all that up, just to avoid confusion.  So, I guess I want you to ask about a rough time-line. :)

Ok, so "different thought processes" doesn't exactly equal "true sentience." :P Oh well.

Brandon said somewhere, I can't even remember where or under what circumstances, maybe even this very thread, that Sazed gave the Koloss true sentience.  So eventually I guess they wind up side by side rather than one taking the other's place.  But who knows what the future might hold. ;)

:o  We all talk about Hoid having some part in the breaking of Adolnasium, but now that you mention it  Po, he could be hiding from what/whoever really broke Adolnasium, because, what/whoever it is wants Adolnasium to stay broken!  Primary Myth Arc Villian!

Video Games / Beatles Rock Band and my Wii's memory.
« on: January 08, 2010, 07:43:16 PM »
After obtaining Beatles:Rock Band for Christmas, I wasted no time in downloading more songs to play.  Eventually, I realized that each song took a significant chunk of my Wii's memory.  After about ten or eleven songs, my memory was basically packed to bursting, leaving very little room for new games, and none for new songs.  I obtained an SD card and tried putting all the music on there, but discovered to my dismay that the game cannot load the songs from the SD card. (At least, it didn't work when I tried it.)  The best I can figure to do is to accept the song limitations of my hardware and swap between Wii and SD memory whenever I switch to and from Rockband, but that seems like it'll get old real fast. (The transfer takes about two-three minutes)  Anyone know of any solutions I'm not noticing?

Whoa, I was right?  Awesome, glad I could be of help.  I just hope the hug wasn't one of those awkward ones where we hug for about ten seconds, stand there for a little while and then one of us pats the other on the bag to say, "okay, you can let go now." :P

My idea of who you are as a person has shifted drastically.  You just got about three times more awesome.

It certainly sounds like the Chronicles of Chrestomanci to me.  Just the going to other worlds in your sleep bit though, I don't remember much of those other things.  A distinguishing characteristic might be that the Chrestomanci has nine lives, because he never existed in the eight other parallel worlds.  One of the characters seals a Chrestomanci in training's lives into a book of matches, and when he strikes one, he bursts into flame.  There were a few books, many taking place in one of the other worlds.  Just the first thing I thought of.  But, as always, I could be dead wrong.

Woah, I just went back and looked at the first page out of curiosity.  I didn't know you wrote, Peter.  Any chance of you getting published one day?  Or maybe you're already published and I missed it. ;)

Anyone know when Brandon is set to answer these questions?  Will it be next week? Or tomorrow? Or just whenever he gets around to it?

Wow, the forums must have been a different place when this thread was active.  EUOL posting unpublished stuff right on the sight for people to peruse and comment on.  That was probably back in the day when most of the people here knew him personally.  The addition of the more general fanbase is probably why we don't have threads like this anymore.  Or I'm completely wrong!

Oh!!! Shadesmar is the cognitive realm!  Now maybe I can participate in WofK discussions without sounding stupid. :P
