Passport Stress
« on: July 09, 2004, 02:01:39 AM »
Its somewhere in the house... left over from the aborted trip to greece. But who knows where. I could have sworn my wife had it. She swears I have it.
Like I said, its somewhere in the house as I have no need of it extradomiciley. its keeping me from sleeping, because I would have to kill someone I cant go to the UK because I cant find a passport I know I have. ARRRGH
Its like losing an expensive thing you need to live, like an iron lung.

I guess I need some reassurance people, that or a shotgun.

if you lose an iron lung in your house, than you REALY need to clean more often.

i hope you find it. I thought you were already gone so it surprised me to see posts from you yesterday.

My only advice is to take each book off the shelf and leaf through it. Pull everything out of each drawer, one item at a time, etc.

Instead of keeping mine in my purse anymore, I decided to keep it in my filing cabinet with my birth certificate, etc. Perhaps at one point you decided to put it in a "safe place" you forgot about? I know I forgot about the filing cabinet for a while there and panicked a little.

I don't know where mine is either, but since I got mine when I was 15, it's now expired and rather useless anyway.

All-right you amateur sleuths I learned several things today.
1. Id have made a pretty good bombardier during WWII
2. The clue to the location of the passport was mentioned in the first post.
3. Im clearly no the butler

give up

It was my wife, in the travel packet we had for greece, found in spite of the total destruction I wrecked upon our apartment.

TOTAL DESTRUCTION...

thats a weight off my mind

Anyone else notice that wives are a lot better at finding lost things than husbands are?

Why are you going on a holiday to a mental institution? :D
