GURPS
« on: June 21, 2004, 11:42:21 PM »
I don't actually know if it goes under here or another games category, because I'm that games-ignorant, but I'm proofreading Jeffe's article right now and I'm not sure about the term. Does GURPS stand for something? If not, is it a game title, Gurps? Just want to know for consistency's sake. (That is, is it "GURPS," where each letter stands for a word, or is it "Gurps," a word?)

GURPS is the name of the game, it's actualy an anacronim.  I wouldn't worry about that paticualr article stacer (the one waiting to be approved) becase SE said he ask Jeffe to rewrite it.  No point in wasteing your time on an article that's not going to get posted.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Oh, okay. Thanks.

I haven't really gone through it yet, so that saves me some time. I have gone through most of the others on the home page, though--pretty much just typos, though I did add a paragraph break once. Anyway, hope y'all like the effect, or at least don't notice my hand stealthily creeping in to take away extra letters and leave apostrophes here and there...  ;)

No I think we'll all be very happy with a copy editor looking over our shoulders.

Another question for you, Sprig--is it Baalgor or Baaglor? I'm assuming it's Baalgor. You had it both ways in the article.
