Title: I love my Ipod
Post by: darkjetti81 on May 29, 2006, 12:21:35 AM
Yes, I finally broke down and got one!  As an anti-conformist, you must realize how I thought I was above all those students walking around oblivious to the world with their stupid Ipods....
But I go to the gym alot, and I can't run three miles without music..  So I bought a Nano, because they were on sale at Walmart (I know, I know... I'm sinning)

Survey says:  "I freaking love this thing!"  It's small, convenient, and there are lots of little accessories to meet your needs.  For example the hard-case with a clip so you can run easily and protect your Ipod from a disasterous fall.  ha ha

Anyways, I also have a myspace account too, so there!

Sorry to be the one to break it to you, but the "OMGiloveMyspaceitssocool" pretty much outs the "anti-conformist" claim as a lie.

Non-conformists are just fooling themselves into thinking they're doing something BESIDES conforming to the other side of the spectrum. Just take what you like from anywhere on the social spectrum, it doesn't matter how much you are like or unlike other people, as long as the persona you build is perfectly you.

Personally, I hate iPods. iPod backwards is doPi (dopey). Not that I would have any qualms with using one if I got it for free. Well okay I might sell it, but there's nothing innately wrong with them. They're quality machines. It's just that I'm looking for very specific things in an MP3 player that I buy with my own money, which is why I ended up buying a Zen Microphoto. It has a great signal to noise ratio, storage capacity, and all the features I was looking for with very few I wasn't looking for.

I too love my ipod, and am a 'non-conformist'.  However, when I listen to my iPod, I'm listening to music only about 10% of the time.  I'm a podcast junkie.  I never listen to the radio anymore.

Maybe I'll start a favorite podcast list, since I'm always looking for more...

Anyone who says they're a non-conformist just shows how much of a wanna-be they are.  If you really were a non-conformist you wouldn't go out of your way to inform people you were, you just wouldn't care what they thought.  Unless I'm mistaken and it's conformist not to give a rat's butt what others think.

Never be a non-conformist, it's just not that popular.

I-pods are a force fo pure evil. They suck you in and then you come to depend upon them and then you are trully lost just like me. Apple will rule the world through I-pods unless tescos or wall-mart get there first
