Rants and Stuff / Re: Very nice forum!
« on: February 18, 2006, 08:51:30 PM »
I'd like to see a new forum that is identical to the old forum, but without newbies making shameless plugs for irritating games sites.

I'd also like to see a new forum identitical to the old one with the same newbies making active, worthwhile contributions to discussion. That could be worthwhile.

You are wrong! Six is a bright yellow! Bart is also a bright yellow! Krusty is lurid green, offhand.

Every Synaesthesiate other than me sees things in the wrong colours.

Last time I heard the word "Sista" on this forum was when me and Jeffe rap battled. Speaking of which, I'm working on an album....

Well, let's use Kabbalah:

KRUSTY

K = 11
R = 18
U = 21
S = 19
T = 20
Y = 25

Total = 114

1 + 1 + 4

= 6

So there's your answer.

Books / Re: Snow Crash
« on: February 15, 2006, 03:06:00 AM »
Snow Crash would make an excellent film - keep in mind it was originally planned as a Comic, and so is ideal for a visual medium. You'd need to do heavy pacing edits, but I like to think it'd be possible to leave in the religion bit - it's the main POINT of the book, and certainly explains a lot of the plot. Then again, you can go the hollywood route and just make a story about Raven.

Better than an assplode. I ate too much chilli once, around three jars of pickled jalepenos and a bag of raw birds eyes, and let me tell you, it isn't fun.

I'm semi-back. I'll be back for real after I move this weekend and get internet set up, so if someone can kindly have the mod powers that are rightfully mine ready and waiting it will be appreciated. Unless, y'know, you don't need help with the n00b problem.

Move Zig!, I say, Move Zig!

And yes, I'm over my whole emotional spaz out thing, or as over as I get.

Of course, let's not make this a Welcome Bac Jam Thread. I'll make one of those myself when I come back for real so you can all throw adoring praise on me.

Video Games / Re: Pokemon
« on: February 15, 2006, 02:36:14 AM »
Yes, I like Pokemon. I think it is an interesting and rich world, if shallow and not entirely internally consistant. The show has interesting storylines and good art and can be enjoyable, while the games are excellent roleplayers, even if the formula is wearing thin.

Bah...tips don't help. I've read all the tips there are.

And yes, I revived a dead thread. I call it ex-regular privalige. Speaking of which, I leave for a few months and this place gets overrun with n00bs!

*Sigh*

/me pulls out his stick, and changes the setting from "Koala Whacking" to "N00b Smackdown"

If the regulars could just vouch for whichever n00bs don't need smackdown it'd be a great help.

Everything Else / Re: TWG Forum Trivia

The weird thing about me meeting Mr. P is I'm probably furthest away from him out of anybody.

Trivia: The forum has had essentially three subgroups: TWG East, TWG Utah, and TWG Aus, which is basically a bunch of people I know who started posting here, and seemed to have left a little before I did.
