A Scanner Darkly
« on: May 21, 2005, 06:50:58 PM »
Check this out!  I heard about this a couple of months back.  It's based upon a series of books by Phillip K. Dick.  I haven't had a chance to read any of his books yet, but I think I need to check them out.  This movie looks to be very interesting kind of like Sin City in a way.  I did not know the concept until I watched the trailer at:

I Definitely recommend checking this one out!

I always wondered if the movies Scanners I, II, III were based on the PKD books, but I figured not...

I haven't read them, so don't know what the movie might be about...will watch the trailer later...
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Thats... really intrigueing. Must make a note of that film.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Ahh.... that looks pretty darn cool.  I was just checking to make sure it didn't have Tom Cruise in it. I can handle Keanu a lot better than Tom Cruise.
