So everybody just left my house. (Okay, not just. I have been taking out my Jane hair while my computer booted up.) Kinda nice to have an evening in a real house with everyone instead of at a restaurant or in a hotel room. Especially 'cause it was my house and I didn't have to take the T home really late at night, like I have the last few days. Not that it's not safe, it's just annoying. It's weird, but breakdowns have happened to me much more frequently at night on the T than during the day/rush hour.
As far as a report of the day, Brenna and I got a lot of mileage out of "Skreee!" and ninja monkeys, as there was a game called Monkeys on the Moon, which of course was a typo and should have been Ninja Monkeys on the Moon. And the doodling grew from there. Soon there was an entire Ninja Monkey Love Story.
EUOL had 2 panels today. The first one was the best panel I've been to all weekend, covering the balance between science and religious belief. I'm sure SE will cover it more thoroughly in the report, but the discussion was a good balance and very good natured. I don't know if I should admit it, but I was rather distracted by ninja monkeys during his second panel.
And the Salt Vampire (thanks Brenna) struck my house during dinner, but we all survived, for rather than destroy us all, he chose to do the dishes instead. (Thanks, and thanks Tage for more dish duty.)
I may bring cake leftovers for lunch tomorrow. First come, first served.
