Banning the UN

Al Snow, the city councilman who was the major driving force behind banning the UN in La Verkin, Utah, came in eighth place in the election yesterday.

For those of you who aren't Utahns (or news-watchers), La Verkin is a tiny town in southern utah (maybe 1000 people?) that recently banned the United Nations.  What does that mean in practical terms?  Who the crap knows.  This is the same little town that has made it mandatory for all adults to own a gun.

Anyway, after getting very soundly defeated yesterday by opponents that were running on the platform of road repair, Al Snow said: "Potholes will never take away your inalienable rights from you like the United Nations."

heheh, that town is so funny.
The UN will take away your rights, so I have to protect your rights by making it illegal for you exercise your right to free speech by expressing your support of the UN. What a maroon.
