domain registry
« on: March 19, 2004, 07:42:31 AM »
If any of you thought about getting a domain, it's a good time. Go Daddy is running a sale for the rest of the month, with .com domains at under $8 (.net and .org are at $9, which is their usual price, still a good deal). .info domains are under $7 and .us are under $5. That's the lowest I've ever seen domain prices.
Just thought I'd point it out. Go Daddy is the registrar I use and they have never disappointed me. I don't know what they're customer service is like because I have never ever ever had to call them for anything. It's all smooth like butter.

That reminds me, Ben.  How much do I owe you for this year?

Is this sale a bad thing for your penchant to collect domains?

well, it makes me covet more. But I'm actually letting a couple more go this year. I'm keeping saintehlers.com, thelemur.net, writers-group.org, and dosoc.com. I think that's it. newsfat.com was also on my list, and i'm still involved in it, but I transferred it to a friend, who's more active with working on it.

You know, logistically speaking, if my husband collected domain names it would probably take up a lot less space around the apartment.

I don't think you owe me anything, although Ady's about to lose her domain. Has anyone had contact with her?
