Movies they'll never make, but you would
« on: June 04, 2004, 01:44:35 AM »
This can be either real or facetious.  Movies that will never be made, but wouldn't it be funny if they were?

I was thinking of this because I'm watching 'Addams Family Values' on tv, and I was watching Wednesday dressed as an Indian, massacring the summer camp and thinking, "Wednesay Addams goes to College.  I'd watch that movie. As long as they got Christina Ricci to do it, anyway."

k, i don't make films. but if I did, they'd have a samurai.

(yes, someone HAD to say it)

i used to think a lot of things would translate well to movie, but i never retain the ideas.

The one I'd like to still make would be a short film based on the MC 900 Foot Jesus song "While the City Sleeps."
Yeah.

SE, that's the coolest idea ever. That would really rule.

In the same vein, I'd like to see a psychological/what's actually happening thriller based on Brian Eno's Nerve Net.

I'd pay to go see that.

And I'm afraid to make this post longer for fear of (more) mocking.

I definately want to make some Ernest-esqued movies. I loved Ernest Scared Stupid. Poor guy, had to go and die.

I wouldn't actually count any of these ideas out.  I mean, I just watched "Being Jon Malkavich" and if THAT can be produced NOTHING is too weird to be produced.  I mean nothing.

What about Adaptation? That movie was pretty crappy, and weird.

I like Adaptation, though I have yet to see any of Kaufman's other movies. I like his style and sensibilities.

Diablo the Movie!  Warcraft the Movie!  Lol, I'd watch them. :P

I would like to see a movie of the Death Dealer, a movie of Elric of Melnibone... hmm, I could go on awhile.  I wish I was rich enough to produce big-budget movies.

I'd like to make animated movies based on Patricia C. Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles. I'd only go CG if I could get Pixar.
