There's that Myazaki movie based on Howl's Moving Castle.

(I realize this is Jones, not Wrede, but it's probably about as close as you're going to get for now.)

I'd like to make animated movies based on Patricia C. Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles. I'd only go CG if I could get Pixar.

Someday, when I have money (which is not today, won't be tomorrow, nor the next day), I'm going to own the entire Myaski collection.

For now, I think I will start reading Jones, as I've only ever read A Tale of Time City.

Mmm, butterpies.

I'd really like to see a TRON 2.  And I agree that you can't count anything out.  If the industry thinks they can trick us into spending money on something, they'll produce it whether it's worth a dollar or not.

perhaps a movie, or line of movies, based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. Hmm...that seems all too predictable with LOTR out already. A Legend of Zelda movie is rather unpredictable, i'd pay to see it. ONLY if Link is the adult version...not that gay little "Young Link" they have tagged him with all the credit of the other games LoZ:1-7....grrrr

But Link must be young for the film to make sense. The Legend of Zelda isn't about the quest of a man, it's about the  quest of a boy. It's an awkward tale of growing up and finding yourself. And it has an Existenialist subplot,.

And there IS a Wheel of time film in pre-production or something.

Actually, the Legend of Zelda movie would never work. Link doesnt have a speaking voice. He'd have to grunt through the whole movie. Funny. ;D

System of a Down put words to the Zelda theme song.  They're really funny.

I know they're in the process of making the movie, but I'd like to see Ender's Game in CGI.  They're never going to find the cast they need for a true version of Ender's Game.  I say they make it with CGI versions so everyone can be the age they need to be (3-6 years old) and still do all the cool moves and fighting.

everybody thinks it was system of a down(I did) but it was actually a band called "the rabbit joint" or something like that that put words to the zelda song....

System of a Down DID NOT write the Zelda theme. This is an emphatically true point.

Go here: http://www.ocremix.org/detailmix.php?mixid=OCR00022

A remixer going by the name of The Rabbit Joint created this work of art. TFO is right. It was created as a video game music remix and designed for OC ReMix.  Somehow, someone started sharing it on p2P networks after renaming it to system of a down, and hence the confusion arose.

Please, if you have the track labelled as system of a down, rename it RIGHT NOW. I am sick of a third rate rock band getting credit for a cool remix.

Incidentlly, this guy put words to the theme as well:
