WHAT?!
« on: May 22, 2005, 11:34:53 PM »
Quote

I am married to a girl named Sue (an appropriate name for lawyer's wife) and have two sons, Isaac and Leif.

You're kidding right?  Your two sons are named Isaac and Leif?  What the heck for?

To make it easier to differentiate them verbally. Naming them both Isaac would be silly.

We had a mouse named Leif.  (Do you pronounce it like "Leaf" or like "Ley-if"?)

Well, so far we are pronouncing it "ley-if". According our brother in Sweden, that is the proper way to say it. Course, supposedly our Norwegian Great Grandfather pronounced it "leef." That is assuming our grandmother's memory is accurate, which it is rarely.
