what is your favourite kof game and why do you like it?

I like kof 2001 and I would like to know if there exists a kof 2005 10th anniversary?

Campcom Vs SNK 1 or 2 (not the dreadful SNK vs Campcom).

I like many of KoF's game aspects but SNK are horrible programmers so the games are always hard to control.  Also up until the most recent versions, where they're using Sammy's atomiswave, the graphics have rarely been updated since KoF '95-'96.

There is a new KoF, it's not called 2005 but KoF XI and so far has been in arcades only.

Soul calibur 2.

Though I played some Guilty Gear XX in a japanese arcade and it was pretty cool. As is the new Gundam Seed thing coming out. And the 'Melty Blood' fighter was hilariously insane.

Mortal Kombat, of course it is the only one I've ever played... :-[
