I would have to say my favorite WWII movies are The Great Escape and The Bridge Over the River Kwai. I'm surprised no one mentioned them.

I love The Great Escape as well. And I was heartened to see Memphis Belle on the list. Not one that often gets mentioned, but certainly up near the top of my list if I were to make one.
