as promised!

I started really getting to work on Friday. This report was written ENTIRELY in the car, using only the light from my laptop screen to see the keys. I blame all typos on Stacy.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I read it and see many things I need to fix. I just don't have time to fix them this morning. I have to run to school and hope the bookstore is open, and I have to find a backpack so I hope that Staples is open. I'll try to catch up when everybody's gone again.

The illustration is by Randall Easley. He first appeared in issue #42 and has been used several times since. And as I recall, some people at Leading Edge didn't want me to use him because his portfolio consisted of mostly astronauts and sci-fi imagery. I'm so glad I did what I usually did as art director and just ignored the editors and staff.

I'm glad Randall is getting more exposure, he's a good illustrator and very amiable to work with.

I should stop reading these con reports. They just make me feel jealous and bitter. And also jealous.

I concur, makes me feel left out, and poor, and neglected. The bitterness hasn't set in yet, but it might soon.

That is why I am going to read them after it's over. Then I can feel jealous and upset, followed by feelings of remorse since they are no longer there and laugh at them.

Well, I alone remain.

EUOL and Ookla just left after having lunch with me. They should be going through security as I speak (speaking of speaking, I'm a plantspeaker--are you all plants?). They were the last to leave--Brenna and GiuXiaJian (sp?) left at 6 or so this morning, followed by Tage at 8 or so. They're all gone.

And life goes back to normal. Weird. I had fun, though, guys! I miss hanging out with you all.

I don't remember that at all.
