I love this particular cover. Steve, you were totally right for saying it was awesome. I heartily agree :D

Renoard:
Curious, how do you go about finding an interpreter that you trust to keep the essential character of the original intact.  German or Dutch might not be so tough, but how about Spanish or French, Japanese?

Peter Ahlstrom:
You don't. The foreign publishing company takes care of it and you don't get any approvals at all.

Awesome cover, by the way.

Oh, I didn't realize there was a German audiobook coming too. http://www.amazon.de/dp/3869520183

Bastille:
That is a cool looking cover!! My question is how come all the covers in different languages have differnet covers? Why not just use the same cover and translate it into the language?

I assume it would be because every time you sell a book to a foreign publisher, it's now the publishing company's job to market it how they want. The publishing company gets to provide the covers, so when you have different publishing companies, there will be different covers depending on how each publishing company wants to market it to its target audience.
