Giant Robot week
« on: March 25, 2004, 05:38:54 AM »
To help alleviate Fell's artical problem I hear by declair next week "Giant Robot Week" here at TWG.  Wither it's anime, RPG, tabletop, comics, video games or just your ranting on the subject we'll take it.  Even a cool webcomic if you know of it.  Just use our spiffy submission form and submit away.  Or if our Gnomes that manage all our content scare you e-mail your article to [email protected], and I'll personaly deal with the little buggers.

I personaly have 4 articles that will be up next week, plus a special surprise to end if off with.  You can expect to be shocked and amazed as you read reviews of:

Palladiums Macross 2 RPG (becasue I cannot find my Robotech RPG books)
Meakton RPG
Macross pluss DVD review
edit:Macross 2 anime reivew

and all the anwsers of the universe will be revieled in my article about mecha and gamming, are they made for each other.

Hurry now, this exciteing event starts next monday and ends friday.

Expect a LOAD of Eva stuff from me. Actually, given my propensity for laziness, don't expect it, just hope for it.

But I have an essay which I may or may not tweak before submisison. Then I can have a review for each DVD, the collection, and also a commentary on each episode, explaingin things, showing things people may have missed, etc.

Of course, someone may have to stop me once I get momentum going. I tend to rant on the topic.

If I played more mechwarrior I'd give you a mechwarrior strategy article...and though I love Big O, I don't know enough about it to write anything...and you're already doing some Robotech stuff....

Maybe I'll do a nostalgiary review of Rifts World Book 5, about the New German Reublic. They have tones of giant robots in there. Of course, given the amount of time I have, don't expect much. I know Sprig has a lot planned, though, so it should be a good week.

Ok, that above thread had little to do with the topic, but that's to be expected, considering the source.

Anyway thanks to JP's Eva articles and SE's article, there should be enough content for GIANT ROBOT WEEK for 2 articles a day.  Thanks you two.

I would love to personally make a giant robot week flash, but I am afraid I wouldn't get it done in time for the end of the week, therefor, I will need to have one done for next year...

Giant Robot week o_o

I know! I'll do a review of GURPS Robots! That has, uh, biggish ones.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

we provide content in the form of reviews and articles. The FAQ that EUOL is currently writing should help. ALso, view the most recent content on the front page.

Hey SE, since GRW is partly to give Fell a break from editor duties for a week, do you mind proffing the articles that get posted?  I'm scared to think what would happen if I was the only one doing so.

heheh, yeah, I'll do it. I guess they'll have to be emailed since such a small percentage will be RPG articles.

I'm rethinking my RObot Jox one. I'm thinking I don't have that much to say. I'll probably try it, but if it comes out stupid, abandon it.

I'll just make all of them RPG till I post them.  Make them easier.  And don't worry about the Jox reveiw, if you can't do we'll still have enough articles.  I just wanted to read you trashing the movie.
