We just finished the second season.  All I can say is WOW!!  A definite improvement over season 1.  I will likely pick up season 3 within the next 2 weeks.

I still can't stand Xander, but I did so love the evil trio of vamps.

Second season is good. Third season is my favourite. Partily because the mayor and Faith are just cool, or at least well developed.
